Description |
1870's Winter dress, 3/4 length sleeves with velvet trim, one piece A-line with working buttons. The dress is brown with black trim and velvet ribbon black buttons all the way down the front (21 buttons with 3 replacements). Patch pocket on each hip with a check mark shape and velvet ribbon trimming. Stand up mandarin collar edged with black satin. Bodice is lined with brown twill cotton. The seams are hand bound to prevent raveling. Machine sewn seams. Loops in underarm seams for hanging. Silk fabric ruffle around the bottom with dust ruffle of brown cotton, whole bottom edged with dark gray protective edging. |
